Known locally as the Groesffordd, the Three Horseshoes Inn is a country pub and restaurant owned and run by Ashley. He has been at the Groesffordd for over 20 years.

The Groesffordd team prides itself on sourcing the finest quality produce from local suppliers. This both ensures quality and demonstrates the team's resolve to support local producers.

Our lamb is presently sourced from our neighbouring farm, Tyn-y-Caeu, run by Rita and Alan Williams.

The rest of our meat is supplied by our local butcher, Paddy Sweeney - Brecon. You couldn't expect anything but quality from a butcher with such a name!

Not forgetting our fresh fish supplier, Moby Nicks in Plymouth. Their expertise ensures we receive the very best.

We have a dog friendly policy in restricted areas and with well behaved dogs kept on a lead.

What's happening at the Groesffordd...

We now have two rossettes

We had another surprise visit recently from an AA food inspector. Again they thoroughly enjoyed their meal and attentive service. We were awarded a second rossette.

This is a fantastic achievement for Connor and the team at The Three Horseshoes. Again, I’m immensely proud of the whole team.

We have a new Sous chef

We welcome back Gavin Kellet as sous chef to join our Head chef Connor and the kitchen team.

Gavin moved to Wales in 2015 and has settled in Llangattock.

He is a vastly experienced chef and has held 2 AA rosettes. He has entered and won quite a few cooking competitions. He was national chef of Wales finalist 2018, a competition that he is hoping to win in 2019. The vegetarian society chef of the future 2 years in a row 2014- 2016. San pellegrino young chef of the year 2015.

Gavin enjoys creating new and modern foods but also more traditional with a modern twist. Gavin loves to use local produce and in fact has a reasonable sized garden where he grows some fantastic products to use in his cooking.
